Tender invitation 2024-024 CHEO Newborn Consolidation and Expansion
MBC would like to invite you to bid on the following project scope includes a full slab to slab demolition of approximately 22,000 sq. ft. 2nd floor of the Max Keeping Wing of the Hospital, excluding the existing washrooms, data room and electrical rooms which will remain. Refer to attachment: Preliminary Design Package. The project will include the fit up of new lab space including modification or additions to the below systems:
New backup generator fed off a new natural gas supply and new UPS., New dedicated RTU and HRU complete with humidification for new lab space. New dedicated lab exhaust system including +/- 10 new fume hoods. Replacement of heat exchangers. Change from HWT to instantaneous hot water supply, including new heat exchangers. New reverse osmosis water system and new clinical lab grade water system. Three new universal washrooms. New pre-action sprinkler system for lab spaces. New prefab walk-in fridge & freezer. New medical gas distribution. Replacement of existing roof and modifications/ additions required for new roof top equipment

A Non Mandatory site visit is schedule for the trades on December 3 at 14:00 pm. for the site visit scheduled on December 3rd, all Subcontractors must wear PPE.
