Project Description

The St. Mary’s Coptic Orthodox Church has retained MBC as their Construction Manager to oversee their building expansion at 1 Canfield Road, Nepean.

Addendum #1, #2,3 and Addendum #4 has been posted on MBC portal to view 

New closing Date May 24th before 3:00 pm

The church addition, known as the Community Center/Service Building, is built on the North side of the church and will link through to the existing North stairwell at both levels. The three level addition is approximately 3,231 m2 of floor area and includes offices, meeting rooms, gymnasium, and commercial kitchens. The site plan and services will be altered throughout the property to include new storm, sanitary, hydro and gas services. Along with revisions to the road access point, parking, walkways, landscaping, and fencing.

The scope of work include, but not limited to:

• Removal and disposal of asphalt paving, grubbing, tree removals, excavation and backfill for addition, site services to 1 meter inside building with sleeve, gasket, and pipe

                        Units price required for: See Appendix A

• Supply and installation of shoring
• Supply and installation of site services
• New concrete curbs and sidewalks, concrete pads, and asphalts paving including line painting
• Supply and installation of formwork
• Supply and installation of reinforcing steel
• Supply cast in place concrete
• Concrete finishing
• Waterproofing

Bidders are encouraged to visit the premises to familiarize themselves with the existing conditions before the date of the tender closing and in advance to submitting a bid.
