Project details

In March 2025, MBC finished construction on Laurysen Kitchen’s new 100,000 sq.ft. cabinet making light-industrial plant. The facility includes a 90,000 sq.ft. Honco frameless pre-engineered shell tied in to a completely renovated conventional structure to house an administration/showroom annex on two floors.

MBC’s pre-engineered Honco Building System enabled a streamline approach to the super structure and greatly facilitated the integration of conventional structural components. The plant includes two ramped loading docks for large tractor trailer vehicles along with two at grade overhead sectional doors to drive in with five-ton cube trucks.

The facility was delivered under a construction management format with value engineering to reduce costs. This project highlights MBC’s ability to manage and integrate complex building systems. The facility also was updated with new increased capacity utilities.
