Tender invitation E26-014 Fernbank CHS New Catholic High School, Ottawa

MBC is pleased to invite you to submit a bid for the Fernbank Catholic High School (CHS) project.

The proposed development consists of a three-storey building with an approximate gross floor area of 159,000 square feet. The structure will be a three-storey structural steel frame supported by grade beams and pile foundations.

The facility will include a new cafeteria with a kitchen servery, two gymnasiums, a library, student commons, stage area, cosmetology room, exercise room, theatre arts room, mechanic shop, construction shop, laboratories, music classrooms, and general classrooms.

Work is to start spring 2026 and occupancy July, 2028

Please note: it is a requirement of this Contract that there be a single prime mechanical and electrical Sub-contractor as per the instructions to bidders . section 00 21 13 Item 1.13 page 5 and 6 of the instructions to bidders

-Prime mechanical contractor shall be responsible to ensure that all requirements of Divisions 20, 21, 22, 23 & 25 are met and comply with all other divisions and contract documents.

-Prime electrical contractor shall be responsible to ensure that all requirements of Divisions 26, 27 & 28 are met and comply with all other divisions and contract documents.
