2024-007 Russell Township Recreation Complex Facility
Project Description: The Russell Township Recreation Complex project (RTRC) has been designed with GFA of approximately 140,098 square feet and located in Embrun, ON. The project will be located at 100 Sportsplex Street where there is an existing sports dome facility. The facility consists primarily of three ice rinks, an aquatic facility, a community hall, a gym/running track, changing rooms and other supporting amenities. The project is funded by the Township of Russell. Construction is anticipated to begin by June 2024 and to be substantially completed by August 2026. the project includes construction of the proposed recreation complex and its associated surface parking areas. Also building a new sanitary pump station with some shoring. Please see Volume 3 for the new Sanitary pump station requirements.
