22-014 KMA Tender Package-2a Building Shell

Project Description

KMA has retained McDonald Brothers Construction (MBC) to act as their Construction Manager for the redevelopment of their 351 Sandhill Road location.

Tender Package-2a scope of work includes the construction of a two-storey community centre high performance building envelope with a mix of steel, hollow core precast plank and glued laminated beam structure. This building focuses on communal space & multipurpose hall/gymnasium elaborated for the congregation and surrounding neighbourhood. The Phase-2a is to provide a fully sealed and enclosed building shell limited to the air barrier membrane.

This call for tenders include but isn’t limited to the following: Formwork, Masonry blockwork,  Structural Steel, Glued laminated beams, Foundation waterproofing & dampproofing, Mod-bit roofing membrane,  Aluminum curtain wall & Entrances, Exterior metal stud wall framing with Densglass, Mechanical roof Curbs & roof top gas pipe supports, Electrical pathway components cast in concrete or masonry block walls as well as conduits running within the roof deck flute assembly, Electrical utilities, Civil work including municipal site services.
