The St-Mary Coptic Church of Ottawa has retained McDonald Brothers Construction (MBC) to act as their Construction Manager for the redevelopment of their 1 Canfield Road location.
Tender Package-02 scope of work includes the construction of a two-storey community centre high performance envelope mid-rise steel and hollow core plank structure. This building focuses on communal space & multipurpose hall/gymnasium elaborated for the congregation and surrounding neighbourhood.
Concrete & civil work along with paving was entirely awarded following the Tender Package-01 and is excluded.
This call for tenders include but isn’t limited to the following: Masonry block & brick veneer, Structural & Metal Fabrication, stainless steel handrail, architectural millwork, mod-bit membrane & asphalt shingle roofing, sealant, PSF, HMD, SCWD, aluminum curtain wall, hardware, interior glazing & mirrors, gypsum board & ceiling assemblies, acoustic wall treatment, porcelain & ceramic tiles, resilient sheet & tiles, carpet tiles, gymnasium flooring, painting, washroom accessories, toilet partitions, office folding partitions, gymnasium panel partition,metal lockers, understage chair dollies, stage curtain, gymnasium sports equipment and wheelchair accessible platform lift next to the raised stage, plumbing, hydronic, natural gas, ventilation, refrigeration and electrical.
