This Petawawa housing project was a design build of a new two-storey, twelve-unit wood frame apartment building for the Canadian Forces Housing Agency in Petawawa, intended to house army personnel. Each unit is a 2-bedroom unit with a complete kitchen and 3-piece bathroom. Each unit also has its own individual mechanical and electrical systems while maintaining high efficiency across the board, which required coordination amongst all trades alongside specific equipment.
The exterior finish is made up of a blend of brick and composite wood siding with colour palates selected from nearby buildings so that the apartment building would blend in with the surrounding neighbourhood. A complete site work package was also done including parking and landscaping.
The project targeted achieving 3 Green Globes and has done so.
